Purchasing/Inventory/Distribution Manager

Natures Formulae is a growing natural health product manufacturer located in Kelowna, British Columbia. We are looking for a candidate to join our rapidly expanding operations. This full-time role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will oversee three essential departments: Purchasing, Distribution and Inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-facility environments
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of up to 10 staff members
  • Ensure cyclical inventory counts are conducted in a timely manner
  • Manage KPIs to measure, control and benchmark procurement processes
  • Identify and lead initiatives to effectively manage storage capacity constraints
  • Oversee all shipping and receiving of products and customer/raw materials
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors and logistics companies

Qualifications

  • Completion of a post secondary diploma or degree
  • 5+ years work experience in the related fields
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Strong communication skills (especially written, but also presentation and telephone manner)
  • Ability to positively thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Computer savvy, proficient in Word, Excel and comfortable with learning new processes (knowledge with Spire Management Software is an asset)
  • Experience in the natural health products industry is an asset

Warehouse Receiver

Natures Formulae is looking for to fill a Warehouse Receiver/Warehouse Worker position.

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Tech savvy
  • Attention to detail
  • Forklift license is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting and unloading delivery trucks
  • Verifying shipments (using packing lists)
  • Entering materials and packaging into inventory software
  • Staging materials and packaging for production department
  • Cycle counts
  • Following all safety procedures
  • Adhering to company policies
  • Sanitation of work area

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

Production Worker

Natures Formulae is looking to hire full time production workers/general labour in our manufacturing facility.

The full time hours are: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm or 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail
  • Follow written instructions
  • Good hand dexterity
  • Able to work with various plant materials

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and weigh out materials
  • Following instructions to manufacture products (heating, mixing and pressing)
  • Package manufactured products (Filling, labeling, boxing, palletizing)
  • Sanitation of work area
  • Following all quality standards
  • Following all safety procedures
  • Adhering to company policies

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
